I, Yvette Bennett Tolson, was born and raised in the south, I love nature and historical sites. After graduating from Pike County High School in Zebulon, Georgia, I attended Georgia State University and obtained a degree in Business Administration, with a major in Real Estate. Although I currently work as a legal assistant in the Atlanta area, my passion is photography.

Although I have no formal training in photography, I have attended numerous seminars and workshops directed at enhancing my art form. I have been shooting photographs for 4 years with an emphasis on landscape photography.

I had entries in the 2004 and 2005 Slow Exposures Show in Concord, Georgia and placed 3rd in the Pike County Division in 2005. I have also donated several of my photographs to charities, the last being two photographs donated to High Arts Day 2006, a fundraiser at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia.

I am always wanting to travel to distant lands to capture the images my family can't see in Georgia, such as the hummingbirds in Costa Rica.
